As part of Violet Posy's Christmas Decoration Tour Carnival I wanted to show off my Christmas fairy. When I was little we had lots of these with pink and blue skirts hanging on our tree. I think my mum had them even before I was born so they probably date back to the early Sixties. When we go to her house for Christmas she still hangs them up.
I think Christmas is all about the nostalgia of childhood. It's fun trying to recreate those memories now for my children – do you agree?
I smuggled this one out of my mum's house (sorry Mum!)

I love your Christmas fairy and well done on sneaking it out. I did the same with some vintage baubles. I love trying to recreate my Christmas's but with a twist for my daughter to remember. I think it's one of the most important things you can do as a mother. Happy Christmas!
